| January 2007 - Cath turns 30 at last! | |

After what seemed like an eternity, on January 20th 2007 Cath finally turned 30, so of course we had a party! |

| January also signalled another big change in our lives, our bestest buddies, Maygan, Phil (and the newly arrived) Lilly headed back to sunny Brisbane, below is Lilly, Maygan, birthday girl and Ruth (Maygs's mum): | |

| To double celebrate the big day, we headed to Champagne in France for a weekend of good food and bubbles, we stayed in the little town of Epernay - home to Moet & Chandon, Perrier - Jouet, Pol Roger and many other fancy places with double names... | |

| But of course, its not all big houses and posh brands, all of the hard work is done out here in the lovely rolling hills of Champagne: | |

| There were a few must do's for the Champagne trip, firstly a posh Chateau to stay in: | |

Seco ndly lunch in a michelin star restaurant (and some very lovely snails): |

| Thirdly visit a Champagne house (or three): | |
 |

| Fourthly visit some of the famous Roman era chalk cellars: | |
 |

|
|
|
| Fifthly find a secret stash of champagne bottles that have laid undisturbed for years: | |

| And drink them! | |
